Never Take Israel for Granted

Today in Israel is Yom HaZikaron, when we remember those who lost their lives in the defence of the State of Israel and to terrorism. This is also a time that we must never take the existence of the State of Israel for granted, especially as we witness continuing attacks (only this week attacks claimed four lives and many seriously wounded). Israel is also subject to increased false news and facts which strive to deny the right for Israel to exist. But, Israel not only overcomes many obstacles, it continues to strive. While we must never forget those who lost their lives in the defence of Israel, we have every reason to celebrate the 71st Anniversary of the establishment of the State of Israel, and sing loudly - Am Yisrael Chai.
